aaronsb [1] filed an orphan request for brother-hl-l2370dw [2]: This package doesn't produce a working driver. The PPD symlink points to brother_hll3210cw_printer_en.ppd which is the wrong printer. It has unnecessary lib32-glibc dependencies, so it just doesn't work.
I maintain the brother-hl-l3295cdw driver as a comparison, and regularly use these printers myself. My plan is to just maintain both drivers as brother releases new updates, but they're pretty sparse.
