qdirstat-bin has been orphaned and out-of-date since 2026-01-18 (stuck at 1.9-1, last updated 2024-07-13). Upstream (shundhammer/qdirstat) only publishes source code for releases, including 2.0, so there are no official binaries to package. The current PKGBUILD downloads a prebuilt binary from the former maintainer's personal GitHub repository, which is not verifiable and is a supply- chain risk. The former maintainer confirmed by email that he is fine with the package being adopted or removed. The package is redundant with qdirstat, which is up to date (2.0-1) and builds from the official upstream tarball.
