Smoolak [1] filed an adoption request for python-hf-transfer [2]: I would like to adopt python-hf-transfer, which is required by python- unsloth, another AUR package I maintain. Version 0.1.9 is current, and the existing PKGBUILD passed our dependency checks. I would maintain compatibility with Arch's Python and Rust toolchains and investigate build failures reported by users. For updates, I would build from source, run the upstream tests and check file transfers after installation. I would also follow changes in Unsloth's Hugging Face dependencies to determine whether hf-transfer is still needed.
