Smoolak [1] filed an adoption request for python-qiime2 [2]: I would like to adopt python-qiime2 and maintain it alongside python-q2-types. I am preparing q2-feature-classifier and q2-sample- classifier for the AUR, and both need a compatible QIIME 2 framework. The current python-qiime2 recipe is orphaned and fails source checksum verification. I will update the framework and dependency declarations, run the upstream tests and check installation and plugin integration with the public Arch and AUR dependencies.
