faruq [1] filed an orphan request for parmetis [2]: This package currently fails to build because the PKGBUILD is incompatible with CMake 4.x, and the upstream link is no longer functional. The maintainer has been completely inactive on the AUR since October 2025 and has provided no contact information. I have prepared a corrected PKGBUILD file; I am ready to take over the package and assume responsibility for its future maintenance once it enters an orphaned state.
