Dasperal [1] filed a request to merge inter-heretic [2] into inter- doom [3]:
Historically, Doom, Heretic, and Hexen, parts of the International Doom project, had different version numbers and release cycles. Because of that, separate AUR packages were created. Since version 8.0, version numbers and release cycles are synchronized. And since version 9.0, official distributions are merged into one package.
