xiota [1] filed a deletion request for mkchromecast [2]: I took over maintainership to try to fix this package. Requesting deletion because the code is hopelessly outdated and no longer works as intended. The last release was five years ago, and requests for a new release have gone unanswered. Users should move to the -git variant or some other program, like catt.
