MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for picom-simpleanims-next-git [2]: It doesn't make sense to have this package.
The "next" branch of AUR/picom-simpleanims-git, which is actually GitHub/fdev31/picom#next is based on an older clone of the upstream 'next' branch. Developer fdev31 is working in other branches, not in the 'next' branch. AUR/picom-simpleanims-git is maintained by same developer, and that is based on the newest version of the code.
