MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for salome-kernel [2]: Orphan, broken Salome package from 2017.
I've submitted deletion requests for the other legacy salome packages that are in the same condition. The salome release tarball contains many modules. Earlier they were built separately in a dozen or so AUR packages. If after 6-7 years of abandonment someone decides to maintain the Salome suite on AUR, it will help them if this package, and the other old module pkg's no longer exist, so that a new one-PKGBUILD split package can be created.
