Maintainer was also notified via flag, but unflagged without any comment or update. If maintainer is unable or unwilling to update the packate, it should be orphaned so someone else may do so.
The issue is that the package is installing unit test files outside of designated installation location. Unit test files are not needed during normal operation and are typically not installed. The location the unit tests are installed to is generic and may unnecessarily conflict with other packages. A patch updating to PEP517 and removing the unit test files was provided months ago and would take minutes to apply.
