(*) there was one third-party adopter's version bump for Padre in 2023, but it didn't resolve the problems with said dependencies. This is not even an AUR-specific issue, because the same failures happen when trying to install this suite with cpanminus, despite building the whole dependency chain in a HOME dir perl library path to adhere to all dependency requirements exactly as per upstream definitions. (The same Perl modules fail to build via cpanminus as their counterparts on AUR.)
