MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge edi [2] into edi-git [3]: The last stable release of EDI is from 2020, and it fails to build on current Arch and even on Debian Bookworm.
Developers have migrated the source code from GitHub to Gitea. In the latter repo, there are no tagged, versioned releases. But the master branch code seems viable, and it builds fine.
