MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for bear2-git [2]:
Unneeded old version 2 of bear; not a VCS package
(executes git checkout {releasetag}).
The only consumer of 'bear' on AUR was 'edi', which is long broken,
and upstream discontinued stable releases since 2020.
I've submitted a merge request from 'edi' to 'edi-git' (PRQ#51663);
the latter does not need bear at all.
Still, extra repo carries bear v3, and there is a proper AUR/bear-git
package as well.
