Creating duplicate packages for the sole purpose of providing an up to date version isn't allowed by the AUR submission guidelines [1]. Please, refrain from creating duplicate packages in the future. You can flag the initial one out of date instead and eventually fill an orphan request if it justified [2] (note that it doesn't prevent you to maintain your own **local** updated version in the mean time if needed).
