MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge blender-plugin-animation-nodes [2] into blender-plugin-animation-nodes-git [3]:
The stable package is long broken and unmaintained. But upstream also has not released any tagged version for more than 2.5 years. Better to keep only the working '-git' build. Upstream's master branch is still actively worked on. And the owner of the AUR '-git' package is actually a member of the upstream dev team.
