a821 [1] filed a deletion request for garfield-git [2]:
Abandoned package by its maintainer/developer. Upstream has only 5
commits on the same day of the AUR submission (2019-06-16). This is a
simple program that outputs a Garfield quote [0] ("I hate Mondays Jon"
or some variation of it).
The PKGBUILD does not follow the guidelines: uses sudo to install and
there is no pkgver function (pointed by @kleintux on December 2022).
No other comments nor reverse depends.
Finally, the program does not even compile, so it's not worth to fix
it.
