MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge ax-usb-nic-dkms [2] into asix- ax88179-dkms [3]:
Both packages are intended for the same purpose, but the latter one has the proper naming scheme, and has been submitted to AUR 3 years earlier. @mmoya, please kindly do not duplicate existing packages. If the existing package has issues, work with its maintainer. In the current case, asix-ax88179-dkms is an orphan atm, so you can directly adopt it and update it to the latest working upstream verion. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!
