Rhinoceros [1] filed an orphan request for emote [2]: Package needs to be fixed. At least 3 unanswered comments that need addressing, with no action nor even a response from the maintainer for months. I'm willing to maintain and fix these issues. I also want to [patch this for Wayland](https://github.com/tom-james- watson/Emote/issues/157#issuecomment-2301353133), but have no faith that the maintainer will do this properly. Maintainer's last update of this package was 7 months after the release date. (I update all of my 41 packages within 24 hours of an upstream update.)
