There was a self launch version also. There's one in NZ. The US
distributor was a good bloke. He dropped out after years of dealing
with glider pilots got to him.
These gliders look good. Includes AC-7 two seater. The little single
seater would work well with one AMT Titan turbine for self launch.
As would the flapped AC-9 which looks like a smaller LS4 fuselage to me.

That's a very cheap single seat trainer aircraft! From my limited
research it seems to be legitimate too.
