With the IS 28 coming back into service problems can exist using 500-5 main
wheel where it can be very difficult to raise the main wheel.  Tost
recently (18months ago) introduced a 336x115-5 10pr aviation tyre designed
for Ventus 2 and Discus 2 which is slightly smaller in diameter than
original 500-5

I gather it works well in IS 28 as well as D2 and V2.  It is expensive but
really solves a problem.

Finally there is now a better 210x65 tailwheel than the original
Continental 2pr version.  It is aviation tyre and 4 pr and seems much much
better.  Only disadvantage is it is more expensive but think it will solve
a long ongoing problem especially from about 4 years ago when Continental
would blow over the rim time after time.
