Just to clarify, the VR means virtual reality and comes about from a headset
that is worn, and completely blocks the view of the outside world. So the
Keepit sim is not VR. I mention it only because the difference between the two,
and corresponding merits of each, was discussed quite a bit, and will continue
to be I think.

Cheers

Tom

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Gliding Simulators?

Some time ago Lake Keepit club built a very impressive VR gliding simulator
with a very large floor to ceiling semi-circular projector screen. Could anyone
from that club comment on how useful their simulator has been for training etc?
