One more thing: by splitting the wing at that point the inner panels are mercifully lighter at 60 Kg.

The tips are the JS1/18 Evo tips. I guess the 21M JS1 tips will fit, making the new JS3 18M glider.
Someone may like to try that as there are 21M JS1's at Benalla :-)
Aspect ratio would be 32.86 by my calculation. Higher than most 18M gliders by 10% or more. Only 18M glider like that at present is LAK17A when 18M tips fitted. Wing loading exceeding 60 Kg/M^2.
Pity about all the existing 18M gliders.

The actual video is 15 minutes, in case you think you don't
 have a spare half hour.

Glider seems to be quite Schleicher like. Fuselage shape reminiscent of ASW20.

New video up from GFA about the JS3. Uys goes into a very long discussion on all the design features, and even the mixed up Rego/Comp numbers. 30 minutes, so quite extensive coverage.
