It also seems to be a model of clarity compared to the CASA shambles.
Is it really true that GFA didn't bother to put in a submission to CASA?
One of the options was to extend the RAMPC to ALL
recreational pilots. The RAMPC is harder to get
than the Class 2 and you are likely to need to go
to a DAME for a Class 2 if you can't get the RAMPC.
If this happens GFA will have nothing to complain
about if they didn't even make a submission.
At very least a defence of the current glider
pilot medical arrangements, as abused as they
are, would have been nice. Helping other aviators
by pointing out the minimal problems with self
declaration would have been nice too but I guess
Jackism is the order of the day
as usual in Australian aviation.
