For anybody with a Garmin with an aviation database, Garmin now offer a
database update facility through their Internet site, at $35 US for a
singe
update or $295 for 13 consecutive monthly updates (for those seriously
needing airspace depictions etc.)

If you are flying serious X/C this summer, or in an area where you need
to
know current airspace boundaries, the updates are available 10 days
before
their effective date.  The next one on 29 November corresponds with the
6-monthly reissue of Airservices' visual chart package and any airspace
changes usually occur at the same times as the new map issues.
