All In case you need a laugh, or just want to worry yourself silly considering the possibilities of what might happen to the precious new glider that you're importing for summer, have a look at:
http://www.cargolaw.com/ They have a fairly extensive picture gallery of shipping disasters, a list of shipping losses and piracy incidents, and so forth. The site design and spelling errors leave a lot to be desired, but if you wade past the long header at the start of each page, there are plenty of things to have a laugh at or gasp in horror at. My favourite (so far, the site is HUGE !) would have to be the one of the chap in the light aircraft with a F-117 stealth fighter cruising past on his left (in the Singles Only area), or the F-15 versus the Chevy Lumina. And of course there's the towboat nightmare sequence, which someone on this list has referred to before (but this has a better comnentary of the actual event) Enjoy, and try not to smirk too much and annoy your fellow workers in the office !
