Hi all,

Its odd that this should be mentioned as I have often thought that ridge
soaring,
in a timed lap situation say 10 laps of an appropriate distance along the
ridge(2km?),
as flown in model comps. The emphasis is on accurate low drag turns and a
signalling device is used to inform the pilot of the end of a lap.

Such an event could be run faily quickly without too much
organisation.....except for the wind!

A site with top launching abilities would be nice.
