Where is the list admin?
This flood of spam can be easily stopped by setting
the Emergency moderation of all list traffic
parameter to Yes. By doing this, every post the list has to be approved by the
owner / moderator.
Other question is, how the spammers managed to
subscribe to the list? One would expect that every subscription has to
authorised by the list owner. if this is not so, it could be changed by setting
the What steps are required for
subscription? to Require approval or Confirm and approve.
All, the spammers, if they managed to subscribe to
the list, could be kicked out via the Mass
Removal module
