Dave

I'd add to that

1. a small mirror (carefully wrapped to prevent breakage) for signalling
2. a spare set of fresh batteries for my Garmin GPS-12 - always nice to be able to navigate back to the glider via Man Overboard if you must walk a long way to find civilisation 3. mobile phone with pre-programmed numbers for base camp, club commandant and other club members who are there. CDMA is best in many country areas, but GSM coverage is getting better near towns and main roads 4. a few coins for making phone calls from a public phone box, just in case it's needed 5. toilet paper - small, lightweight and better than using the local foliage !!!

Cheers

Jason

Hi,

I am interested in the contents of peoples outlanding kits: Space blankets ,
water, food, sunscreen, bug repellant......etc

What do you have in your kit?

I would like to pass the assembled knowledge onto our club members for this
season

Thanks
