To all those that have an xcom radio using one of
my boom mics I would like to make contact re occasional very slight whistle on
transmit. The fix is easy and is caused by my boom being almost 1/4 wave
length long (it has grown in length over the years and xmitters are more
powerful) - it is earthing the boom BUT PLEASE TALK FIRST as there are several
amps around
