The whitworth threads are very uncommon these days.  A unc thread often
approximates whitworth for samller threads and there are equivalent metric
threads as well.  Whitworth differs from every other thread in that is has a
55 degree thread angle instead of a 60 degree and has a rounded thread peak
to accommodate some dirt contamination in the threads.
