Hi All,
Work is progressing at Warwick in
preparation for the Qld State comps which is the week before the Nationals at
Kingaroy. Traditionally most fly both the State and Nats when held in
Queensland. I have been flying at Warwick as a home club for a few years now and
it has allot to offer, my best distance was 802km's last year. Around September
/ October is the start of the good months and as we are in another drought the
gliding weather has been great and if we get the trough weather expect a boomer!
There is a club class as well as ballasted.
Plenty of Motels in town which is a 10
minute drive from the airfield and there is camping on site - provide your own
caravan or tent.
Entry forms should be available at the end
of the week on the SDASC web page ( www.sdasc.org.au )
