You are correct. Our major concern has been for the pilots wife. She may
read the pilots email afterwards (including this one) and it would be
distressing to have conjecture.
Please refrain from second guessing results or hypothesizing. The
results of the Police inquiry will come out soon. The papers and TV in
Sydney have carried a lot of information that is very general. The facts
are:
Stemme S10 -VT
It is clear now that a fire occurred while on cruise between Camden and
Bankstown.
The pilot and his son were killed in the crash
The pilot was a member of SCGC
RTO/A - NSW and SCGC CFI assisted the Police at the crash site.
We are awaiting the official results of the investigation.
