Honestly, that story isn't sad and lonely, its mildly frightening.
In particular, it highlights that you can mandate at a comp that
everyone has a FLARM unit, but you (obviously) can't mandate that
they all work - i.e. we've all still got to remember these things
(like ourselves) are fallible, and fly accordingly.
