Subject: Re: [Aus-soaring] MH Oxygen refill Dear Mark I have purchased the "transfiller" that MH sell - the higher specification one of the two possibilities as shown on their website if you dig into it. This kit makes it easy to fill if you have an appropriate high pressure bottle to decant from. Amongst other things you need to be the type person who can handle the equipment appropriately, eg careful storage when not in use, etc., etc., etc. Yes the transfiller costs a bit but then the cost could be shared amongst a group. Usually I get bottles filled by a suitable enterprise rather than use the transfiller because I don't often have a high pressure oxygen source at my elbow. Some of my bottles are 3,000 psi rated and to get 3,000 psi into them I go to Miden Medical in Tullamarine Melbourne where we have had good service. On the GFA website there is a webpage where sources of oxygen bottle recharging are advised. This may only list the Melbourne possibilities or it may have now been expanded to add some other states possibilities. regards Roger Druce ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Fisher Sent: Thursday, 12 June 2008 11:59 AM To: Discussion of issues relating to Soaring in Australia. Subject: [Aus-soaring] MH Oxygen refill I am wondering how or where people are refilling their MH Oxy systems. I just bought a KF011 bottle with EDS. It's a wonderfully low weight system.
