The 'Sheik' with 2 Stemme S10s is the Saudi Prince Bandar, so not the same guy. His fleet of gliders including 2 EB28s are generally kept in the UK and managed by his British 'instructor'. Morocco is very user-friendly to the middle eastern royalty but on the surface I'd say the captioned accident was in a motor glider possibly wave flying. If he crashed South of Rabat he was on the wrong (maritime) side of the mountains. The eastern (lee) side is drier and can have great wave. Rgds, Brian
