That's Garret and Boyd Willat's Nimbus 3 and Discus B combination trailer
which also converts into their home away from home. One truck pulls two gliders
and an enormous camper to comps!
Please take into consideration that both of them were practically born on the
airfield. They are the sons of Brett and Karen Willat, who run the operation at
Warner Springs, California (formerly at Fremont, CA). Believe Garret soled
something like 8 or 10 different gliders on his 14th birthday. They're just
Pups, though.
Brett Willat was instrumental in the development of the hand-control Grob
Twin
2 for paraplegics in the 1980s.
