It is illegal to drive while reading a map, why is it ok to do it while flying ?
The average person would take much longer looking at a map then the 2 - 3
seconds that it takes to read a pda etc.
Cheers.
Bernie.

The best option for glider instrumentation is a properly made gliding
instrument. All else is a distraction at best and dangerous at worst.
If you think a driver with an iPhone glued to his ear is dangerous, try the
guy on the other side of the thermal. Yes, I have seen it done.
Leave the bloody things on the ground. Or at least, switched off in your
pocket.

Save your money. I wish I had.
There is no way to import waypoints: everything has to be entered manually,
thus prone to error.
The list of gliders is very old, with no ability to add new ones.

Does this mean that winpilot will work on iphones as well? Like many I fly
