Until recently, I like you, assumed Blue Tooth was a standard. It isn't. There is a standard implementation which most companies seem to follow, however apparently manufacturers can implement their own proprietary version of Blue Tooth. Nokia do it with their mobile phones, BMW do it with their Blue Tooth handsfree phone kits. It looks like Apple have done it also. Blue Tooth ain't Blue Tooth. ROSS
