G'day everyone, I've been in the process of setting goals & working on the process to make the AUS World Gliding team for Lithuania & Benalla.
I've bought the glider(s) to make that possible, I'm doing the practice, got myself a coach & flying the biggest comps possible in the lead up. What am I missing now? A crew chief that is keen to be apart of the success & journey to the World Champs. My goals: to be a single point behind my team mate of the selected year, preferably always in 2nd place & my team mate with the World Champ status; to represent Australia proudly & always as a professional; my crew should also feel like they're the WC, when we can manage to get my team mate a WC status. Are you interested? The best person for the role would be.. *naturally, one whom I get along with; *one whom is retired & able to make it to most events (at a min, the two nationals a year & the squad weeks) & interested in traveling overseas for the Worlds (when/if I make the teams); *one whom has a basic understanding of electrics & glider systems/maintenance; *preferably a competition background (of any sort I suppose, but gliding best) *one who's keen to do this for the next 5-10yrs would be ideal so we can build an awesome team together! What can I give back in return? *all accom & food paid for at the events, plus a beer each night. **can pay a lump sum of money for the situation & you sort yourself out, or on a day by day basis. *to the world champs, the above applies, but I couldn't manage to pay for the airline tickets or extra time in country past a few days either side of the champs period.
