Well you can always learn. 5 years instead of 2 is very sensible. I only do Cambridge and Clear Nav (was Winter once upon a time) mainly because with other brands people forget to send me instructions or leads and I waste too much time trying to work it out. Besides I have no interest. I have not charged juniors going to world's. over the years. I can do 2 (or maybe 3) units at a time as my chamber is very small. I can say the old (15 yes plus) Cambridge model 10s & 20s do have a largish variations but the Cambridge 302 and Clear Nav MFD (vario awaits IGC approval right now) are extremely accurate and vary very little from year to year.
Thus the 5 years is very sensible. Ian mcphee PS NEVER EVER use a EW lead with a CAMBRIDGE and not too sure about the other way around but may not be very healthy!!
