The latest issue of the DG news bulletin advises of the passing on the 10/09, of Stefan Doernemann, who was one of their long term employees and the main contact for all things LS.
For those that knew him, like I did, from the days of the Australian Soaring Centre in Narromine, he certainly knew how to have a good laugh. He was also a very good pilot and dragged me around my first 300km. Another pilot gone too soon.
