I have signed up for NBN in the last few weeks at home. We signed up with one
RSP, and Telstra a few days later.
Being an HFC area, each ISP needed to book an appointment for installation.
Despite placing the order nearly a week later, Telstra managed to get their
appointment a full week faster.
It sure does feel like this field is tilted…

Of course neither appointment was able to get us connected first go, but that’s
a story for another time…

There are some installation technicians (contractors for NBNco) telling our
customers that certain installation issues wouldn't be happening if the
customer had signed up with Telstra.
I've had a few occasions now where I've had to explain to customers that
Telstra are just another RSP and what the technician told them was nonsense.

Yep, but I’m only reporting our users, though serval today reported local

If it walks like a chicken, talks like a chicken mmmm good guess.

liked it to be).

We've had dozens of users denied internet once the NBNs into an area which
Telstra has a presence in – seeing every dodgy DNS changes/denials of access .
Even though they have 12 months to make their choice of provider. Also hearing
from other provider same stories. The NBN as supposed to be a ‘level playing
field’ seems it has tilt.
