Proper Name, and can be a woman as easily as a man.
Man in the Middle is a purely technical concept, where there is no
place for gender specification and serves no purpose but to perpetuate
gender stereotypes. In light of which, henceforth, thinking people
should rather refer to this vector as a Person in the Middle Attack.
