Hi All, Just sliding in on the back of this announcement and continuing the theme of support - it's worth noting that the VyOS project put out an announcement last week, stating that they will offer free subscriptions and access to their LTS images for organisations in bushfire affected areas.
Text and further details at https://blog.vyos.io/free-vyos-access-subscriptions-for-australian-companies - might be useful for some. Regards, -Brad. -----Original Message----- From: AusNOG <ausnog-boun...@lists.ausnog.net> On Behalf Of Kai Sent: Sunday, 5 January 2020 9:17 AM To: Ausnog <ausnog@lists.ausnog.net> Subject: Re: [AusNOG] Fwd: IAA Disaster Coordination - support for members and community affected by the fires Thanks Nathan, While the South and Eastern states are burning, Broome has just been put on Cyclone Watch, anticipated to only reach cat 1, but cyclones are unpredictable, just like some fires and just like some humans. I have my portable gear ready and although technically against operating protocol, if required I'll do the same as I have done up here during previous situations and provide comms when all other regular systems are down. If it helps SES/FESA/Police etc to help our community, then I do it.
