For those that are used to the Xitter, the Fediverse feed is based on hashtags you follow, so you have full control of your feed. There's a bunch of suggested ones in https://mastodon.au/explore and you can also watch the firehose (when you're signed in) at https://mastodon.au/public (Which is 'Live Feeds -> All') I'm going to be using '#AusNOG' so that would probably be a good first hashtag to follow, along with things like '#Australia' and '#Greyhound' ...
