The following issue has been SUBMITTED. ====================================================================== https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1449 ====================================================================== Reported By: rhansen Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: 1003.1(2016/18)/Issue7+TC2 Issue ID: 1449 Category: Base Definitions and Headers Type: Enhancement Request Severity: Editorial Priority: normal Status: New Name: Richard Hansen Organization: User Reference: Section: 3 Definitions Page Number: Line Number: Interp Status: --- Final Accepted Text: ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2021-02-04 17:25 UTC Last Modified: 2021-02-04 17:25 UTC ====================================================================== Summary: "Decimal-point character" vs. "radix character" Description: The standard sometimes uses "decimal-point character" or "decimal point character" where "radix character" would be more appropriate (because POSIX does not have a definition of "decimal-point character").
Note: The C standard uses "decimal-point character" for the same concept as POSIX's "radix character". Desired Action: On page 53 after line 1637 insert a new definition:<blockquote>Decimal-Point Character<blockquote>See <i>Radix Character</i>.</blockquote></blockquote> Change page 83 line 2369 from:<blockquote>Radix Character </blockquote>to:<blockquote>Radix Character (or Decimal-Point Character)</blockquote> ====================================================================== Issue History Date Modified Username Field Change ====================================================================== 2021-02-04 17:25 rhansen New Issue 2021-02-04 17:25 rhansen Name => Richard Hansen 2021-02-04 17:25 rhansen Section => 3 Definitions 2021-02-04 17:25 rhansen Interp Status => --- ======================================================================
