The annual report to SC22 had been circulated to Core for comment.
Andrew took an action to produce a similar report for the PASC SEC.

* Current Business

Bug 1122: POSIX should include gettext() and friends OPEN
and https://posix.rhansen.org/p/gettext_draft
Also https://austingroupbugs.net/file_download.php?file_id=64&type=bug

Geoff's addition to XRAT appendix E was noted.
A new PDF will be needed, but we will wait for more comments first.

To be discussed again when more comments are raised.

Bug 1560: clarify wording of command substitution
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1560
Leave this and related bugs 1561 and 1564 open awaiting reviews/discussion.

Bug 1273: glob()'s GLOB_ERR/errfunc and non-directory files OPEN
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1273

We will leave this open awaiting feedback.

Bug 1271: clock_nanosleep() TIMER_ABSTIME: if rmtp is non-NULL, set it to
clock_id's time value when returning. Rejected
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1271

See https://sourceware.org/legacy-ml/libc-alpha/2019-08/msg00412.html
for answer to Eric B's question.

While we agree that this sounds like a reasonable request (using a
new flag), without a reference implementation there isn't anything
for us to standardize at this time. The discussion referenced in
bugnote:4522 raises several questions that have not been answered
in the last three years. This bug is therefore rejected. If an
implementation is created, please file a new bug with details of
the changes and a pointer to a reference implementation.

Bug 1254: "asynchronous list" description uses "command" instead of "AND-OR
list" Accepted as Marked
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1254

This item is tagged for Issue 8.

An interpretation is required.

Interpretation response:
The standard is unclear on this issue, and no conformance distinction
can be made between alternative implementations based on this. This
is being referred to the sponsor.

Rationale:
Various aspects of asynchronous lists and job control are insufficiently
specified in the standard.

Notes to the Editor (not part of this interpretation):
Make the changes in Note: 0005845

Bug 1228: allow shells to exclude "." and ".." from pathname expansions
Accepted as Marked
https://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=1228

This item is tagged for Issue 8.

On draft 2.1 page 2353 line 76183 section 2.13.3, after:
<blockquote>it shall be matched against existing filenames and
    pathnames, as appropriate.</blockquote>
add:
<blockquote>If directory entries for dot and dot-dot exist,
    they may be ignored.</blockquote>

On draft 2.1 page 2353 line 76205 section 2.13.3, add (at the end of item 3):

<blockquote><small>Note: A future version of this standard may
require that directory entries for dot and dot-dot are ignored
(if they exist) when matching patterns against existing filenames.
For example, when expanding <b>.*</b> the result would not
    include dot and dot-dot.</small></blockquote>

Bug 1219: snprintf reequirement to fail when n > INT_MAX conflicts with C
