Why don't you contact the OpenOffice.org Education Project ? What you describe is exactly one of the goals of this project.

Please have a look at : http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Education_Project

We do provide :

- classrooms online (will update soon, exactly when my overload at work will decrease, say in two or three weeks)
- help online, mostly on the #education.openoffice.org

I forgot : there is a mailing list : [email protected]. Please subscribe and propose. I'm sure you'll find a good echo over there :)

Well, I'm just wondering why noboby told you about the OpenOffice.org Edcuation Project, because this is really it's goal.

My mistake, Eric. I just did not think of the Education Project when I was talking earlier with Wayne and the others. Their instructor had contacted me about a project for their technical writing class, and I was thinking of "documentation" not "education" even though the target audience is students.

Using their material on the Education Project as well as the Documentation Project, by linking to the same materials from more than one place, sounds like a very good idea to me. The more ways we can reach more people, the better.
