I just downloaded the latest Writer guide:

0200WG3WriterGuideOOo3-2.pdf from

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/w/images/f/f2/0200WG3WriterGuideOOo3-2.pdf

It has a nasty "Free eBook Edition" watermark on every page which is quite distracting. Is that really necessary?

The previous guide that I downloaded in January:

0200WG3-WriterGuide.pdf

doesn't have this problem, but it is the older guide, based on OOo 3.0.

It looks like I can get individual chapters of the 3.2 Guide without the watermark, but not the whole book? That seems kind of strange to me...

Thanks for your input,
Jeff Heath

The watermark is there because someone has been taking our free PDFs
and using them to create printed books which they are selling on
Amazon.com without returning any money to the OOo community. (We
publish a printed version of the book through Lulu.com, but not yet
through Amazon.com.)
