I have a slightly different issue
I am a university student and my university uses a system called balckboard to
communicate with students. Lecturers upload documents for students to download
etc. I use OOo office programmes and not microsoft on my computer ... on
windows 7. Our blackboard has just been updated and renovated and since then I
have been unable to download docx. files or ppt. files, something which I could
do previously with no problems at all.
I contacted the blackboard managers and they said there is nothing wrong on
their side and they can not tell why I can not download files which were
uploaded in windows as OOo files as they are not familiar with OOo. Do you
think you could be able to help? Is it something to do with compatibility?
